About Us
Dr. Vishisht Mehta, MBBS, FCCP
The Nevada Lung Foundation is a passion project and personal philanthropic effort of Dr. Mehta. His and the Foundation's mission is to spread awareness and share information on lung cancer screening in Nevada.
He completed his fellowships in Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City, NY. He then completed his Interventional Pulmonary Fellowship at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, MI.
He is the Director of Interventional Pulmonology at the Comprehensive Cancer Centers of Nevada and the Department Chair of Pulmonology at MountainView Hospital, both in Las Vegas, NV.
He is also a recipient of Vegas Inc.'s 40 Under 40 award for his work in Las Vegas.
He is a recipient of the prestigious FCCP (Fellow of the College of Chest Physicians) designation from CHEST.
He also serves on the Nevada Leadership Board of the American Lung Association.
